Steven J Scott Jr., a 30-year-old man from St Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life in a collision on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 11:55 AM in St. Louis County, Missouri.
The crash occurred at the following location: Northbound Interstate 170, north of MO 180.
Scott was the driver involved in the collision. The police provided the following description of the incident:
Fatal Collision Report - Scott’s vehicle was traveling in the first lane of the northbound Interstate 170 when he experienced a medical emergency. His vehicle veered off the roadway to the right and descended an embankment. The front of Scott’s vehicle collided with a large tree. Due to the impact, his vehicle rotated to the right. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene on 07/21/2024 at 12:15 PM by the Northeast Fire Protection EMS personnel. The investigation was assisted by TPR. E. Sikes (919) and TPR. A. Pogue (725).
Injuries
Steven J Scott Jr tragically sustained fatal injuries. He was transported by Lonnings Mortuary Service to the St Louis County Medical Examiner .
Vehicle Damage
Scott was the driver of vehicle #1, a 2014 Dodge Dart. According to the police, the damage to Scott’s 2014 Dodge Dart was so severe that it was considered a total loss. The vehicle was removed from the scene by A2b Towing .
