This was a fatal crash. The incident occurred as the vehicle, carrying Bedros, was heading northbound on I-35. It veered off the west side of the road into the median, hit an emergency crossover, became airborne, and impacted the ground. The vehicle overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof, facing south. The scene was attended by MCIU Sgt. J. M. Toal (967), Sgt. S. J. Cool (546), Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Decatur County Iowa Sheriff’s Office, Lamoni Iowa Police Department, Harrison County First Responders, and Decatur County Iowa First Responders. The next of kin was notified. Harrison County Coroner Zach Wilson declared the deceased at the scene at 1716 hours.
Injuries

Vehicle Damage
