The collision occurred when Vehicle #1 was heading south on Route K and its mirrors collided with those of an oncoming tractor-trailer. Following the impact, the mirror shattered the driver’s side window of Vehicle #1 and hit the passenger. The other vehicle involved in the collision did not remain at the scene.
