Rebecca A Clapper, a 70-year-old woman from O’fallon, Missouri, was injured on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 9:18 AM in a crash in St. Charles County, Missouri. The collision took place on Interstate 70, east of Cave Springs Road.

In this incident, Clapper was one of the drivers. The police report details the sequence of events as follows:

Three vehicles were involved in this incident. Vehicle #1 was in the second lane, while Vehicle #2 was in the third lane, positioned ahead of Vehicle #1. Vehicle #3 was in the second lane, ahead of both Vehicles #1 and #2. The traffic was congested due to a construction zone ahead. Vehicle #2 switched lanes, moving from the third to the fourth lane. Shortly thereafter, a collision occurred when Vehicle #1, which was traveling too fast for the congested conditions, hit the rear of Vehicle #2 (Impact #1). After this initial impact, both Vehicles #1 and #2 began to slide, resulting in the front right of Vehicle #2 hitting the left rear of Vehicle #3 in the second lane (Impact #2). Following this second impact, Vehicle #3 veered off the right side of the road, with its front right hitting the guardrail. The scene was attended by TPR. C.R. Knox (#946) and officers from the St. Charles City Police Department.

Injuries

Vehicle Damage
