A recreational vehicle (RV) pulling a Jeep Gladiator was heading westbound on I80 near the Black Hawk Ave overpass when, for an unknown reason, the RV veered off the road into the north ditch of I80. The driver attempted to regain control of the RV before it hit the bridge guard rail. Despite these efforts, the RV continued across I80 and collided with the median side bridge guard rail. The RV then rolled over and ended up in the median. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and names have been withheld until family members have been notified.
