The collision occurred when Vehicle 1 was heading south and Vehicle 2 was heading north on US 169 in Andrew County. The driver of Vehicle 1 moved into the northbound lane to overtake another vehicle and collided head-on with Vehicle 2. Both vehicles veered off the south side of the road and came to a halt in the grass, with Vehicle 1 facing west and Vehicle 2 facing east. The crash scene was attended by CVO J.E. Lawrence (W185) and the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department.
