At the same time, Vehicle #2 was traveling south on Hickory Ave. After losing control, Vehicle #1 veered into the path of Vehicle #2 and was hit by it. The occupants from Vehicle #1 were transported to Mercy Mason City . The crash is still under investigation. Assistance was provided by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, Clear Lake Police, Clear Lake Fire/EMS, Mason City Fire, and Mercy Air Med.
