Christie L Petersen, a 70-year-old resident of Sheridan, Missouri, tragically lost her life in a collision that took place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:15 AM in Andrew County, Missouri.
The incident occurred at the following location: NB US 71 AT CR 36 - 22 MILES S OF MARYVILLE
Petersen was one of the drivers involved in the crash. According to the police report:
FATALITY CRASH REPORT - NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED - BOTH OCCUPANTS PRONOUNCED DECEASED ON SCENE AT 1109 HOURS BY ANDREW COUNTY CORONER DOUG JOHNSON. The crash occurred when the first vehicle, heading northbound on US 71, veered off the right side of the road. The vehicle hit an embankment and was launched into the air, colliding with a roadway sign before impacting the ground. The vehicle then overturned, finally coming to rest on its roof, facing south. Injuries
Christie L Petersen tragically succumbed to her injuries. She was transported by Bram Funeral Home to their facility in Maryville, MO.
Vehicle Damage
