Pedestrian Kevin R Schiele was crossing the northbound lanes of Missouri 367, specifically in lane two. At the same time, a vehicle was traveling northbound on Missouri 367 in lane two. The front of this vehicle struck Schiele. He was later pronounced deceased at Barnes Jewish Hospital by Dr. C. Coleman at 5:23 AM on August 31, 2024. Assisting in the case were MSgt. C.L. Pleasant (715), Tpr. E.R. Sikes (919), Cpl. K.D. House (931), Bellefontaine Neighbors PD, and Moline Acres PD.
Injuries
Kevin R Schiele tragically succumbed to his injuries. St. Louis City Fire and Rescue transported Schiele to Barnes Jewish Hospital .
Vehicle Damage
Schiele was the driver of a 2015 Chrysler 200, which sustained moderate damage according to the police report. The vehicle was not driven away from the crash site; instead, it was towed by a company called Left The Scene .
