Rosara J Picone, a 50-year-old woman from Liberty, Missouri, was injured on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 12:20 PM in Clinton County, Missouri. The collision took place at the intersection of US 169 and MO 116, 4 miles south of Gower.
Picone was one of the drivers involved in the crash. According to the police report:
The collision occurred when Vehicle #1, driven by Picone, was heading eastbound on MO 116 and crossed US 169. At the same time, Vehicle #2 was traveling southbound on US 169. The front of Vehicle #2 collided with the right rear end of Vehicle #1. Following the impact, Vehicle #1 came to a halt facing eastbound on MO 116, resting on its wheels. Meanwhile, Vehicle #2 managed to make a controlled stop, facing southbound on US 169. Assistance at the scene was provided by Trooper J.W. Smith (372), the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, Plattsburg Fire Department, Gower Fire Department, and the Northland Regional Ambulance District .
Injuries
Rosara J Picone sustained minor injuries. She was transported to Liberty Hospital by the Northland Regional Ambulance District .
Vehicle Damage
Picone was the driver of vehicle #1, a 2006 Ford Taurus. The police reported that the Ford Taurus sustained significant damage. As for the removal of the vehicle, it was towed by Randy’s Repair .
