Sharon K Polster, a 73-year-old man from O’fallon, Missouri, sustained injuries in a collision that took place on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 8:10 PM in St. Charles County, Missouri. The incident occurred on the westbound Interstate 70, east of Zumbehl Road.

Two vehicles were traveling on the westbound Interstate 70. Vehicle #1 was in lane 3, vehicle #2 was in lane 4, and an unidentified vehicle was in lane 2. The unidentified vehicle switched from lane 2 to lane 3, colliding with vehicle #1. This collision pushed vehicle #1 into lane 4, where the front right side of vehicle #1 hit the rear left side of vehicle #2. Consequently, vehicle #2 started sliding, and its rear right side crashed into the concrete median barrier. Trooper R. Oosthuizen (600) provided assistance at the scene.
Injuries
Sharon K Polster sustained minor injuries. She was transported by St. Charles County Ambulance District to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis .
Vehicle Damage
Polster, the driver of vehicle #2, a 2007 Nissan Altima, was reported to have sustained moderate damage according to the police. The vehicle was reportedly removed from the scene by A-1 Towing .
