FATAL CRASH This is Troop A’s 57th fatal crash and the 64th fatality for 2024. The next of kin has been notified. The crash occurred when Vehicle #1 veered across the center of the roadway, resulting in a head-on collision with Vehicle #2. The driver of Vehicle #1 was pronounced dead at the scene by Johnson County Coroner Clark Holdren at 6:07 PM. The next of kin has been notified. The incident was attended by Trooper D J Harms (#421), Trooper S L Edwards (#580), and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department.
Injuries
Jessica N Lindsay sustained minor injuries. She was transported to Research Medical Center by Johnson County Ambulance District .
