In doing so, they collided head-on with Vehicle 2, a southbound motorcycle. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, EMS, Fire Department, Medical Examiner, and Jergens Towing were all present to assist. The investigating officer was Trooper Missman, badge number 246, from Post 7.
