Vehicle #1 was heading northbound on the 1100 block of Taylor Ave, while Vehicle #2 was heading southbound at the same location. Vehicle #1 crossed the center line, moving northbound into the southbound lane. The front driver’s side of Vehicle #1 collided with the front driver’s side corner of Vehicle #2. Following the impact, Vehicle #1 came to a halt on the east shoulder of the road, and Vehicle #2 ended up in the west ditch. Both vehicles sustained severe damage as a result of the crash.

Injuries

The individual, whose name is being withheld, sustained fatal injuries. They were transported by an unidentified service to the University of Iowa .

Vehicle Damage

Withheld was the driver of a 2003 Ford Taurus. The police reported that the vehicle was removed from the scene by Brother’s Towing .
