Stegman’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on US54 at a high speed. In an attempt to avoid hitting another vehicle, he swerved and lost control. His vehicle then hit a curb and overturned, eventually coming to a halt against a second vehicle. This second vehicle was legally parked and unoccupied in the Southwest Truck Parts lot.
