This is Troop A’s 59th fatal crash and 68th fatality of the year. The next of kin has been notified. The crash occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle while accelerating through a curve. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned, and hit a fence. The driver was pronounced dead at 2200 by Deputy Coroner Noah Harness. Assisted by MSGT R.W. Shaul #528 and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department.
