Vehicle #1 was traveling eastbound on HWY 163, near mile marker 53. At the same time, Vehicle #2, which was pulling a tiller implement, was also eastbound but on the right shoulder. Vehicle #2 started to merge into the left lane when Vehicle #1 collided with the rear left side of the towed implement. This caused an intrusion into the front compartment of Vehicle #1. The impact took place in the right lane. The investigation into the collision is ongoing. Assistance was provided by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Bill and Ray’s Towing .
