Vehicle #1 was traveling eastbound on HWY 163 near mile marker 53. Simultaneously, vehicle #2, which was also eastbound and pulling a tiller implement on the right shoulder, began to merge into the left lane. As vehicle #2 was merging, vehicle #1 collided with the rear left side of the towed implement, causing front compartment intrusion. The impact took place in the right lane. The collision is still under investigation. Assistance was provided at the scene by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and Bill and Ray’s Towing .
