Nathan L Jeffries, a 33-year-old man from Montreal, Missouri, tragically lost his life on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11:09 AM in a car crash in Pulaski County, Missouri.
The incident occurred at Mile Marker 157 on the westbound Interstate 44.
Jeffries was one of the drivers involved in the crash. According to the police report, the collision occurred while Jeffries' vehicle was being pursued by the Saint Robert Police Department. His vehicle was approaching another vehicle at a high speed. In an attempt to avoid a collision, Jeffries' vehicle began to skid and subsequently hit the rear of the second vehicle. The impact caused Jeffries' vehicle to overturn, ejecting him in the process. His vehicle then veered off the left side of the road and struck the cable barrier. The second vehicle managed to come to a controlled stop on the right shoulder. The Saint Robert Police Department and Troopers E.A. Ferrel (153) and J.C. Southwood (1448) assisted at the scene. This incident marks the third fatality in October and the 29th for the year 2024 for Troop I.
Injuries
Nathan L Jeffries suffered fatal injuries. He was transported by an unspecified service to the Pulaski County Ambulance District , and from there, he was moved to Fort Leonard Wood Hospital .
