Vehicle #1 was heading east in the westbound lanes of 13TH ST in Ames when it collided head-on with Vehicle #2. The officer on the scene was TRP Salesberry, badge #284, from Post 01. Assistance was provided by the Ames Police Department and Story County EMS.
