Jason David Williams, a 19-year-old resident of Dysart, Iowa, was injured on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 5:34 PM in Tama County, Iowa.
The collision took place at HWY21, south of 170th St.
Details of the crash are as follows: Williams was driving Vehicle 1, heading southbound on HWY 21. At the same time, Vehicle 2, which was towing a trailer, was heading northbound on the same highway. The two vehicles collided in an offset head-on collision. Tragically, the driver of Vehicle 1, Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was reported by Trooper Schamberger from Post 11. Assistance was provided by Tama County, Dysart PD, Fire and EMS, and DOT.
Injuries
Jason David Williams sustained fatal injuries. He was transported by an unidentified service to the Dci Lab in Anchony.
Vehicle Damage
Williams was driving a 2011 Volkswagen GTI. The police reported that the car was removed from the scene by Awe Towing .
