The second vehicle, a 2015 Freightliner CMV driven by Gary Wayne Bega, was also eastbound and attempted to make an avoidance maneuver but struck the first vehicle on the driver side. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway and were subsequently removed - the Toyota Avalon by Express Recovery and the Freightliner CMV by B&L Towing.
